Classes will be held at Ellaberry Urban Homestead located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. You will be given directions when you enroll.
All classes begin at 7pm on Thursday evenings and last approximately 2 hours. Class fees are $20 per class per person. You may enroll in one class at a time and pay as you go or pay for all of the classes you'd like to take up front. If you pay for four classes, you will receive an Ellaberry binder and supplies and a nifty, handmade reusable tote to hold your supplies. If you enroll in and attend classes for all four seasons, you will also be given a free on-site consultation in your own garden.
If you cannot attend a class but have prepaid, you may take the class you missed the next year, space permitting. You can also elect to receive any class materials handed out during your missed class via USPS. Registration fees are non-refundable. Payment may be made by check, money order or through Paypal.
*****Please consider enrolling as early as possible so we can be the best prepared we can be for class nights (supplies, snacks, beverages, chairs, etc.)!*****
Class information is specific to USDA Hardiness Zone 6b/Northeastern Oklahoma. Information shared in these classes is drawn from the anecdotal experiences of Ellaberry Gardens and should not be substituted for an expert's (i.e. your doctor's) advice. In other words, eat your plants at your own risk!
If you have your heart set on taking some or all of Ellaberry Gardens' classes or really need/want help with edible garden design and truly cannot afford the fees, please know that I consider all reasonable trade/barter proposals. Here's some ideas of what I need for my family: my husband and son need monthly haircuts; some seasons bring extra garden work; the garage needs rewiring; I have a couple of very small tiling jobs that I'll probably never get to but would love to have done; our three dogs could use a good grooming. You get the point. I'm way more interested in services than stuff...I have plenty of stuff (except for a Country Living Grain Mill, Foxfire books, and a Dazey butter churn.) I am also interested in any excess naturally grown fruits and veggies for puttin' up! Contact me and we'll do our best to hammer something out! Please contact us if you need me to make special accommodations for you to attend classes or with any other questions or concerns at jenny@ellaberrygardens.com.
