I would like to share with you some of my favorite ways to use up our garden goodies and preserved foods! Enjoy!  Let me know if there's any particular garden bounty you're looking to use up and I bet I have a recipe for it (or can at least find you one!)

Elderflower Champagne is a wonderful way to use up some of those huge flower heads in June.  Simple and yummy.  Here's the link to our favorite recipe! I just had to have a picture before it had to be sequestered in darkness for 24 hours!  So pretty!

Beautiful and tasty spring salad~~~spinach, red onions, strawberries and pansies.

Sometimes it really is the simplest things that bring us joy on a daily basis.  Preparing a plate of freshly harvested and cut up veggies can be the beginning of a wonderful couple of hours around the kitchen table!

Nothing better than edible wall art!  Onions braids are simple to make, beautiful to look at and useful!  Just make sure you let your onion tops dry out before you braid them!  Trust me...I learned the hard way!

Summer's bounty!  Makes me so happy to be blessed with such simple abundance...this is a good life!
