Ellaberry Builds
Over and over we've been asked if we ever build stuff for folks like the stuff we build for ourselves around here. My builder-in-residence has decided he'd be happy to offer such a service!
We offer to build for you:
If you need any of these items built, contact Jenny at jenny.ellaberrygardens@yahoo.com (who will pass it on to Chris, the actual builder)and tell us what you'd like (dimensions, preferred materials and how many animals you'll be keeping if it's for critters!) If you're willing to let us build your items out of salvaged, reclaimed or cull woods (like we often do for ourselves), your prices will be lower but you can't be as picky about types of wood. Just let us know as many details about what you'd like as possible!! We'll shoot you back a quote as soon as possible!
We can deliver most items but a large chicken coop will have to be picked up in a pickup or on a trailer.
Examples of our work:
This is our quail enclosure. It was built entirely from scrap/parts we had lying around. It's amazingly sturdy. And, most importantly, our quail seem really happy in it. It's about 5' tall at its highest point. The floor space is approximately 15" x 30"...perfect for about 12-15 quail. Quail can stand to be a bit more crowded than chickens. Yours can be bigger if you're going to house more birds. I really like the height of this cage because it makes the daily caretaking chores really easy (cleaning, egg collection, feeding, watering.)
