December 2010
  • 75 hen eggs
November 2010
  • 20 lbs sweet potatoes
  • 2 lbs 12 oz eggplant
  • 5 lbs 2 oz tomatoes
  • 4 oz each rosemary and basil
  • 6 oz basil
  • 1 lb 6 oz jalapenos
  • 14 oz sweet peppers
  • enough holy basil that the dried leaves fill a one gallon jar
  • 71 hen eggs

October 2010

  • about 400 lbs of pears from the old family farm pear tree (many, many were shared and many were put up)
  • probably 150 lbs of apples from a friend who doesn't use her apple trees (I know...I can't believe it either!)
  • 38 lbs sweet potatoes
  • 72 hen eggs

September 2010
  • 1 lb 12 oz cantaloupe
  • 1 lb sweet basil
  • 4 oz mint
  • 8 oz rosemary

August 2010 (too much heat....tough year...but we're hanging in there!)

  • 1 lb 10 oz rutabaga thinnings (maybe one of my new favorite greens!)

June 2010

  • 8 0z holy basil
  • 6 oz mint
  • 2 oz oregano
  • 3 oz garlic chives
  • 6 oz chives

  • 21 lbs 9 oz onions (sweet yellows and reds)
  • 8 oz blackberries
  • 10 oz immature pears (limb broke in a storm...they'll get thrown in a fruit crisp or some jam)

  • 2 oz snap peas (that's it for them)
  • 1 lb 10 oz green beans

  • 6 oz lavender

  • 35 lbs 10 oz plums (Yippee!!! Our first big plum harvest...all off of one tree planted in 2004!)

May 2010
  • 5.25 lbs strawberries
  • 1.5 oz bell pepper (first one!)
  • 1 1/2 lbs lettuce (there was about 4 lbs more that I fed to the hens because of bolting...again with the bolting!)
  • 2 lbs snap peas (sad...vines struggling with powdery mildew...yuck!)
  • 8 oz english peas (so sad...plants succumbed to rampant aphids and being mildewy....yuck!)
  • 3 1/2 lbs plums
  • 5 lbs turnips (with greens...yummo!)
  • 12 oz carrots (harvested finger thin just for fun)
  • 3 lbs kohlrabi (love this sliced thin...so crunchy and refreshing)
  • 3.5 lbs onions
  • 1 lb broccoli
  • 5 oz cucumber (first one!)
  • 19 lbs potatoes (had to harvest all early because of same disease issue we were experiencing in our peas...sad)
  • unweighed amounts of herbs (especially dill) and alpine strawberries scarfed down by hungry neice and nephew
  • 8.25 dozen hen eggs
  • about 2 dozen quail eggs
  • 8 elderflower heads for elderberry champagne :)5 lbs mulberries (wild foraged)
  • 2 lbs poke salad (wild foraged)

April 2010 (OK, so I got sort of a late start recording this year! 
Ugh!  It happens.)

  • 2 lbs spinach (another 5 lbs for the hens that was bolting...gotta stay on top of this bolting spinach better!)
  • 1 lb chard
  • 1 lb lettuce
  • 1 lb strawberries
  • 8 oz garlic chives
  • 4 oz rosemary
  • untold amounts of borage leaves and flowers, mint, and alpine strawberries (these rarely make it inside)
  • 7.5 dozen hen eggs
  • 3 dozen quail eggs

January - March 2010 (only kept track of hen's eggs)
  • 25 dozen hen eggs
